Chairlesque is our best-selling class and our wow-factor.​

Beginner & Intermediate levels available. 

This class requires moderate core strength. 

Choreography builds week-to-week over 3 weeks.

Deviant Chairlesque is unique and our style is exclusive to our brand.  This unapologetic dance style can sometimes be flirty and sassy, but the choreography can also be raw and therapeutic depending on the routine. Movements transition from slow & lingering  to sharp & sensual. This class is a catalyst to discovering your hidden potential, channeling your alter ego & finding empowerment through movement.

INTERMEDIATE CHAIRLESQUE 

All members must start in beginner Chairlesque and then be placed into our Intermediate class. Individuals with previous dance experience should contact us for direct placement. 

In Intermediate Chairlesque you will be required to,

  • move at a faster pace with control and balance.

  • learn and remember at least 64 counts of choreography. 

  • tackle isometric holds and perform postures that require core strength.

Cardio Dance is our flagship style and what keeps our passion alive. 

All levels of dance welcome. 

This is a high-intensity & sweaty class. Modifications will be given.

Class contains explicit music content & mature choreography.

Clean, in-studio sneakers required.

Deviant combines their dance expertise and urban edge to deliver a highly addictive cardio dance class. This class has stylized, sequenced choreography with repetitive movements which makes it easy to follow along. This class mixes both low- and high-intensity moves for an interval-style experience that caters to all dance levels. This class is hip-hop heavy and contains explicit music content.

Deconstructed is the technical backbone of our cardio dance genre.

This class is part of Soleful Sundays.

All levels of dance welcome.

This instructional class breaks down new cardio dance choreography and concentrates on basic fundamental dance techniques. Learn musicality to predict changes in the music; develop proper form to protect your body from harm and utilize techniques that will help you discover your hidden potential and slay the dance floor. During this class, we value personal growth and nurture individual progress. 

Deviant Beats is the music-driven Barre experience you've been looking for.

All levels welcome. Modifications will be given.

This is a low-impact but challenging class.

Weights, props & mat provided.

Want strength training? Want cardio? Want stretching & breath work? Barre delivers it all!
This class is designed to build strength through full-body movements & and improve flexibility through deep stretching.  This powerfully efficient class is cunningly choreographed to music and targets those deep-down muscles to deliver a productive burn. 

Vibe Yoga is our power flow.

All level welcome. Modifications will be given.

Please bring a yoga mat, a towel & a full water bottle.

INSTRUCTOR: Jamie Pratte

This vigorous yoga practice is taught with an emphasis on building awareness, strength and flexibility by moving through a dynamic sequence of postures. Focus is brought to moving purposefully while recognizing and engaging each individual muscle in the body. Connect breath and movement, build internal heat, and leave feeling strong and centered. Variations in poses make this class available to all. been looking for.

Pole Dancing is our wild outlet.  

Beginner & Intermediate levels available. 

This class requires moderate core & upper body strength. 

Class contains mature choreography.

Wear shorts with bare legs to hug the pole.

Soft-soled dance shoes or bare feet.

INSTRUCTORS: Tylis Amplo (Lux) | Liz Bremer | Sarah Walter

An intro to pole dance fitness! Students will learn beginner level holds, spins, climbs, and inversions. We will complete a series of short routines and choreography. The class will be physically challenging but a lot of fun, and a fantastic total body workout for all ages, body types, and athletic abilities.

Pole Dancing requires moderate core and upper body strength

In Pole, you will be required to...

  • use strength to rotate around a spinning pole.

  • support yourself in various upper body and lower body holds.

  • build new muscle memory over time.

Level 1 - Absolute Beginners and members who want to continue learning basic fundamentals

Level 1 & 2 - Combo skills class for members who have graduated to level 2 and for members who have trained at Level 1 for at least 10 classes in our studio.

Lyra is our acro in the air. 

This class requires moderate core & upper body strength. 

Wear long form-fitting pants & sleeves to protect your skin.

Soft-soled dance shoes or bare feet.

INSTRUCTOR: Liv Coloton

Lyra is a classic and dynamic hoop apparatus. This class covers foundational skills that can be used to build upon and translate to other specialty classes. Beginners will build stamina and poise as we progress through more challenging skills and choreography.  Basic skills begin with mounts, dismounts, hangs, and spins that become progressively more challenging as we learn transitions and short combinations that naturally develop along with body control, coordination, and strength.

In Lyra you will be required to...

  • hang upside down from your knees & pull-up from this position.

  • perform skills while suspended in midair.

  • use total body strength to transition between postures.

 

As well as our regular class offerings, we host a variety of Special Event classes and Spotlight classes. Spotlight classes give local dancers the opportunity to grow our Syracuse Arts community through instruction. These classes cover a wide range of disciplines and are taught by new & established instructors.
