What to expect

This class requires moderate core & upper body strength.

You will be required to lift your body weight

Classes involve transitioning between poses in midair

Lyra, also known as aerial hoop, is an aerial apparatus that combines strength, grace, and creativity using a suspended steel hoop. Students learn poses, transitions, spins, and sequences while developing upper-body strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness. Equal parts challenging and rewarding, Lyra invites you to explore movement from a completely different perspective while discovering what you're capable of in the air.

Prepare for Class
  • Bring a water bottle

  • Wear form-fitting and long clothing that covers back of knees and midriff

  • Avoid clothing with zippers buttons
