DYLINN ANDREW - CANDY APPLE

Dylinn Andrew (Candy Apple Guide), is a versatile, dynamic and passionate performing artist with over two decades of experience on stage, in front of the camera and behind the scenes. This marks her second year as a Guide for Thinning of the Veil, where she also created the production’s pink conjoined twin wigs and much of the Guides' costumes. A proud member of Deviant for the past five years, her artistic journey began in professional opera as a child, studying under the late Neva Pilgrim, before evolving to embrace a wide range of performance and visual arts. Actress(stage & screen), dancer, multi-instrumentalist, hairstylist/MUA, and visual artist—she is the embodiment of a true jack-of-all-trades. 

Recent theatrical highlights include fulfilling her dream role as Fiona in Shrek the Musical with SCP (TANYS Excellence Award), and this upcoming holiday season she will appear in Syracuse Stage’s production of A Christmas Story as Miss Shields(u/s). Beyond performing, Dylinn lends her expertise as an adjudicator for Stars of Tomorrow(Jimmy Awards) and serves as the Wardrobe and Wig Supervisor and Resident Wig Designer at Syracuse Stage, while also sharing her assortment of knowledge as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Drama at Syracuse University.
