AFTON BINGHAM & MINAYAH CARSON - THE CYCLE SISTERS

Afton Bingham is excited for her fourth year in Deviant Production’s Thinning of the Veil. Beginning her Veil experience as a Guide, she makes her debut tonight in the always highly-anticipated Chair Tribe group numbers. Afton has been a Deviant Dance Tribe member for nearly five years, finding dance again during the pandemic. 

Spending most of her childhood and college years in various dance organizations and musical theatre productions, Afton is thankful for the continued opportunity to dance, create, and grow with this amazing group of humans. She would like to give thanks to her husband as well as every last beautifully powerful Deviant for their unending encouragement and brilliant minds, not only throughout this production but well beyond the Marley. A special thanks to her duet partner and certified dance bestie, Minayah Carson. Reunited and it feels so good! I wouldn’t want to dance on the dun duns with anyone else. Pinkies up for always reminding me to keep my head held high. Looking forward to many more years of counts mixed with boom kahs. Let the show begin! 

Minayah Carson

Is thrilled to return for her fourth year in Thinning of the Veil and Deviant Productions. Starting out as a Guide, she has danced her way into featured solos and duets, and loved every step of the journey. A proud member of Deviant Dance Tribe, she also brings the heat as a cardio fitness dance instructor! (Catch me Thursday, Saturday, Sunday)

With roots in high school theatre and a passion for storytelling through movement, Minayah is grateful for the opportunity to grow on and off the stage with this incredible company. Minayah is reunited with her Deviant besti and former guide partner, Afton Bingham! Pinkies up for being a consistent source of joy, inspiration, and support on and off the marley!
