Melody Bucko is a performer whose passion for movement began at a young age in the Boston area, where she trained in ballet, jazz, tap, and musical theater. After relocating to Syracuse as a teenager, she shifted her focus from the dance studio to the cheer mat, spending several years competing nationally in all-star cheerleading. In 2019, Melody joined Deviant Dance Tribe, rekindling her love for dance and reminding her of the powerful connections that movement can create. Inspired by the supportive community she found, she developed a passion for helping others discover their own strength and confidence through dance. As an instructor, Melody creates classes that encourage dancers to step outside their comfort zones, embrace new challenges, and celebrate their progress. Her goal is for every participant to leave feeling energized, accomplished, empowered, and maybe just a little bit fierce.
